Thermal-Aid Kids Bears & Heating and Cooling Packs Review & an Amazing Giveaway (20 Winners!)

We all experience aches, pains, and fevers, yet we are often unsure of how to safely and effectively relieve these discomforts.  This is why I am absolutely thrilled to tell you about the amazing company, Thermal-Aid.  They have innovative products for every member of you family, including pets!  I can honestly not say enough good things about Thermal-Aid. All of their products provide 100% natural therapeutic heating/cooling treatment to help relieve pain and reduce fever.

  

Thermal-Aid has come up with a product line of Kids Bears that is absolutely brilliant. These soft cuddly bears are made up of natural cotton and a heating and cooling element composed of specially engineered corn.  This allows the bears to even be hand washed without getting moldy.  Thermal-aid has five different colored bears available that come with a cute name and the ability to relieve pain and reduce fever.  My pre-schooler has the yellow bear named Honey and my one year old has Buckley the blue bear. However, Buckley has already been given the nickname, Watery, because my son says the bear’s blue color reminds him of water.  These adorable bears truly are amazing.  Plus, they have the sweetest faces!

We all know kids have a lot of energy and want to play outside whenever they get the chance.  My boys are no exception to this rule, so we tend to play outside no matter what the temperature.  Since we live in the state of Wisconsin we often come into the house very cold and stiff.  Now when my boys come inside with cold faces, fingers and toes, I simply heat their Thermal-Aid bears in the microwave for about 30 seconds each and they can snuggle up with their bears for some warmth. I am so impressed with how these bears stay warm for long periods of time even after being held by cold hands and nuzzled by cold faces.

My oldest son has never really been very attached to a specific toy, blanket, or stuffed animal.  However, he is seriously in love with his Honey bear.  He even takes his bear in the car when we travel.  On cold mornings I like to heat up his Honey Bear so it can keep his hands warm in the car.  This bear is such a sweet little companion!  His Honey bear will be a major source of comfort and relief the next time a fever strikes!

When I first came across Thermal-Aid products, I was very interested in the cooling feature of their Medium Sectional.  I have a bad back and I was looking for a product to help reduce swelling when needed.  The Thermal-Aid Medium Sectional exceeded all of my expectations.  Not only are Thermal aid products 100% natural and very effective, but they are also so comfortable to use.  Before I began using the Thermal-aid medium sectional heating and cooling pack, I spent many hours over the years suffering through the burning discomfort of having ice packs on my skin.  I would often resort to wrapping a thin towel around an ice pack which ended up reducing its effectiveness immensely.  Now I can ice my back for 15 minutes without any discomfort from the Thermal-Aid cooling pack.  The natural material and design of the medium sectional allows for much more comfort and it is much more effective. In fact, my medium sectional remains cool and effective during every use.

 

The Thermal-Aid medium sectional can also wrap around the body to provide maximum coverage.  I have had many sprained ankles over the years and I always had to deal with awkward ice packs that poked my skin, constantly fell off the swollen area, and melted quickly.  The Thermal-aid medium sectional would have been a much better way to reduce my swelling and ease the pain of my sprained ankles!  I hope to not experience that again; however, with two active boys in my house I have a feeling this Thermal-Aid sectional will be put to good use on a regular basis.  In fact, our medium sectional has already been wrapped around my son’s arm several times after some minor injuries.  We simply wrapped the cooled sectional around his hand and arm while he sat on the couch.  I knew this cooling pack was exceptional when my 3-year-old willingly sat with it on his body for 15 minutes!  You can see in the photos above that he was quite comfortable.  He even zoned out a bit watching a cartoon.

I can also tell you on good authority that the Thermal-aid bear holds up well to tough love. My one year old drags his Buckley bear all over the house!  Thermal-Aid bears are intended for children 3 years and older, so I only let my youngest use his bear under close supervision.
